I started out in the Drapery Installation Business at 19 years of age. For about 15 years that was my main business.


Eventually I went into the distributing of custom made shutters to Interior Designers.


About 20 years later Shades & Blinds became the predominant window treatments. It was a natural transition to take on their measure , planning , and installation.


About 4 years ago I started to get requests for shade/blind repairs. After about 3 months of consistent requests , I realized that there was a substantial need for that service , and decided to take on that aspect of the business. Repairs have become the largest portion of my business. I maintain a large selection of replacement parts to enable single visit repairs as much as possible. However much of the time parts need to be ordered. We will gladly order the exact part to get your window treatment functioning as good as new.


Occasionally parts are discontinued and out of stock. In such a case , I may try to rebuild a broken part. This is something which requires time , effort , and often some creativity , but since many shades these days are extremely expensive to replace ,they are usually significantly less costly to repair and thus worth the effort.


Recently , I have noticed that draperies are making a comeback , and that there is an increasing need for measuring, planning , and installation. As the saying goes ,

Everything old is new again.
